The Alberta Spirits & Cocktail Festival is the largest of its kind in Alberta and celebrates the diversity of small batch distilling within Alberta and abroad.

With its unique biodiversity, robust agricultural sector, clean water sources, and some of the countries hardest working people, Alberta is the best place in Canada to distill spirits using local products. Thanks to relaxed legislation introduced by the Alberta Government in 2013, the province has seen an explosion in the craft distilling industry. In less than 10 years, 50+ Alberta based distilleries have opened, many of which source their products from local agricultural producers and support local economies.

Alberta is on the cusp of a new generation of Rye whiskeys, a movement that could rival the Burbon’s of Kentucky and the Scotches of Scotland and our mission is to be there to show it off to the world.

Our objective is to create an immersive experience that showcases these unique Alberta based organizations to the public, and to give a voice to the hard-working Albertans behind these distinctive brands. The festival will feature distilleries and brand owners from across the province, who will have the opportunity to showcase and sell their products. There will also be various entertainment components, including Vegas style flair bartending performances, cocktail making demonstrations, Q&A panels with master distillers & industry influencers, and live music to top it all off.
